Mary (Blessed Virgin)

The Blessed Virgin Mary (ca. 18 B.C-ca. A.D. 41) was the wife of Joseph and mother of Jesus. She was chosen by God to be his virgin mother, and has been the most venerated Christian saint since antiquity.

Am I not here, I who am your mother?

Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.

Do whatever [Jesus] tells you.

For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.

God wishes to charge you with a mission. You will be contradicted, but do not fear; you will have the grace to do what is necessary.

I am the Queen of Heaven, who prays for the conversion of sinners, and I wish you to do the same.

I do not promise you happiness in this world, but in the next.

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Penance! Penance! Penance! Pray to God for sinners!
