The Intersanity Foundation is proud to announce the launch of a new project, Public Schools Watch, located at http://www.pswatch.org. Public Schools Watch is a user-driven forum web site where parents and students can catalog and discuss the problems and abuses of public schools on a national and local level, beginning with my favorite school system in the world: Fairfax County Public Schools (see Not Affiliated With Chantilly High School).
Public Schools Watch has local school district forums which are moderated by volunteers from that local area. At launch time, only Fairfax County, Virginia has a local forum, however we are hoping to expand to other school systems nationwide over time. Volunteers interested in starting and moderating a local forum for their school district can contact the Intersanity Foundation to get started.
In addition, there are several ‘general discussion’ forums where anybody can discuss the nationwide problems with public education in the United States, and (hopefully) posit ideas on how to fix it.
Public Schools Watch is funded entirely through the Intersanity Foundation, and if you wish to support the project you can (first and foremost) participate in the discussion or donate to the Foundation to cover operations costs.
